Title:
COOLING SYSTEM FOR AUTOMOBILE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3823481
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of resonance vibration of a cooling fan by correctively controlling a fan revolution number so that an explosion vibration frequency, which is the number of explosion per a unit time in an internal combustion engine, is made different from a rotational vibration frequency representing a fan revolution number per a time unit of the cooling fan.
SOLUTION: A radiator and a condenser 3 are cooled down by blown air generated by means of an electric fan 1 driven by means of two electric motors 1b consisting of cooling fans 1a individually, and the respective electric motors 1b are controlled by means of a motor controller 10. The motor controller 10 is provided with a control unit 12, which receives varied kinds of sensor signals from an engine control ECU 20 so as to output a pulse signal. That is, the control unit 12 computes an explosive vibration frequency per a unit time in an engine 30 and a rotational vibration frequency per a unit time of the cooling fan 1a and outputs a pulse signal by which the fan revolution number is correctively controlled so as to provide different values for the explosive vibration frequency and the rotational vibration frequency.
