Abstract:

To provide a cooling system for an internal combustion engine, which implements cooling of a turbocharger in a cold engine or discharge of vapor from a turbocharger after the stop of the engine.

The turbocharger 4 is connected with an upper tank 7 of a radiator 5 through a first turbocharger cooling pipe 41, and is connected with a heater return pipe 37 through a second turbocharger cooling pipe 42. The first turbocharger cooling pipe 41 is arranged with continuous rising gradient from the turbocharger 4 toward the upper tank 7. The second turbocharger cooling pipe 42 is also arranged with continuous rising gradient from the heater return pipe 37 toward the turbocharger 4.
