The vehicular muffling device has: a muffler pipe 5 communicating exhaust gas by penetrating through the inside of the muffler 1 surrounded by two end plates 3 and 4 and a shell 2; a housing 70 forming a sound absorbing chamber 71 for sealing a sound absorbing material around the muffler pipe 5; and the resonator 6 forming a resonance passage 61 by communicating the inside of he muffler pipe 5 with the inside of the muffler 1. The resonance passage 61 is formed of the housing 70.
