Abstract:
To provide a cooling system which is improved in cooling efficiency of a cylinder head.SOLUTION: A cooling system comprises: an engine 1 having a cylinder block 17 and a cylinder head 18; a first cooling path 6 formed in the cylinder block 17; a second cooling path 7 formed in the cylinder head 18; a water pump 2 for pressure-sending fluid to the first cooling path 6 and the second cooling path 7; a pump housing 14 through which the fluid passes and which has an accommodation chamber 13; a valve body 33 arranged in the accommodation chamber 13, and adjusting a pressure-sending amount of the fluid by the water pump 2 by advancing/retreating to/from the accommodation chamber 13; and a power source 37 for adjusting an opening of the valve body 33. The pump housing 14 further has a first discharge port 12a communicating with the first cooling path 6, and a second discharge port 12b communicating with the second cooling path 7, and the valve body 33 is valve-opened so that the fluid flows a lot to the second discharge port 12b more than to the first discharge port 12a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
