PURPOSE: To obtain the charge for copying without counting the quantity of taken copies nor confirming the size by setting the copy charge for each mode, and calculating and displaying the copy charge automatically and simultaneously with copy processing.

CONSTITUTION: A prescribed mode for example, five kinds of charge for the copying are set for respective modes (paper side, both-surface copy, sorter use). An automatic charge calculation mode SW (switch) is turned on firstly and a mode is set. Following data are then set by pressing keys successively. Namely, data on 30 yen per sheet for A3 size, one yen per sheet for sorter use, five yen per sheet for A3 size, etc., are inputted. Consequently, every time a copy is taken, the charge corresponding to the quantity and size etc. to be copied is calculated and displayed.
