PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordless power tool capable of calculating or displaying a residual working capacity properly.SOLUTION: A cordless power 1 tool comprises: a motor 6; a housing 2 accommodating the motor and holding a battery 4 removably; battery residual capacity detecting means 19A for detecting the residual capacity of the battery; adjusting means 26 capable of adjusting a working state to a workpiece thereby to change the load upon the motor by the adjustment; working state detecting means 18 and 23F for detecting the working state; and a control part 14 for calculating the residual work volume on the basis of the residual capacity and the working state.
