Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attain serial torque converters with a low cost, secure startability in a low speed area, and improve fuel consumption performance in a high speed area in a coreless torque converter in which no core extists at a portion where blades are collected.
CONSTITUTION: A conical rectifying ring 6 is arranged on an outer peripheral part of an outlet of a stator 4 for direcing flow around a center of a torque converter to the stator 4.
