Abstract:
To provide a generator of handwritten character correct answer data for recognition capable of automatically generating a large amount of correct answer data used for OCR recognition of handwritten characters from actual handwritten characters.SOLUTION: The generator of handwritten character correct answer data for recognition is a device for automatically generating correct answer data used for recognition of handwritten characters. The generator includes: a shape change processing unit that performs a series of shape change processing on an image of a handwritten character that is determined as written correctly with respect to a given character; a determination unit that is configured to determine whether the image after the shape change processing whether or not it can be interpreted by the character recognition unit as the predetermined character, and when determined as out of interpretation, control the shape change processing unit to perform the shape change processing again with a reduced amount of shape change.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
