Abstract:
PURPOSE: To control a band amount stored in a band pool box in a packing machine to a constant range to solve a problem due to excess or insufficiency of the band pool amount.
CONSTITUTION: A pool box 13 is equipped with a band feed returning mechanism 14, a band pulling mechanism 15 for adding a band X from a reel 12 into the box 13, and a sensor mechanism 24 positioned in the pool box 13 for detecting a band pool amount. The band pulling mechanism 15 is controlled so that a total of the band added to the box and the returned length is less than a reference when the sensor mechanism 24 is operating or more than the reference when the sensor mechanism 24 is not operating, wherein the reference is a length of the fed band by the band feed returning mechanism 14, so as to make the band pool amount always in a constant range.
