PURPOSE: To perform the change and addition of design standard at the user side of a system by providing a rule compiler and a rule interpreter, and decoding a rule file in which the design standard for residence is made into a rule in a type of spreadsheet program.

CONSTITUTION: The ordinary operation of the system is performed by using a program 9, and when the plan view information of residence is inputted, rule matching is taken by referring to a rule object file 5 by the rule interpreter 6 and an automatic design program 7, and a construction drawing 8 is outputted. When the change/addition of the design standard occurs after the system is introduced, the rule file 3 described in the spreadsheet program in which the design standard for residence is made into the rule is compiled by the rule compiler 4, and the rule object file 5 for design standard is generated. Thence, the file 5 is decoded by the interpreter 6, and the file 3 is corrected by the user. Therefore, the change/addition of the design standard can be easily performed at the user side.
