Title:
CORROSION-MONITORING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3760724
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion-monitoring method which enables monitoring of the state of corrosion due to tubercle of the boiler steel material, without having to stop a boiler and which is quantitatively free of personal difference.
SOLUTION: The inflow from a branch pipe 1 is adjusted to fill a heating unit 2, a cell 4 and a buffer tank 10 with water, while blow water runs over stably from an overflow port of the buffer tank 10. Voltage is applied between a sample pole 7 and a counter pole 6, to measure a polarization resistance value of a sample 7. The polarization resistance value obtained is applied for a predetermined calibration relationship, thereby the generation of a tubercle of a material to be monitored is monitored within a boiler.
