Retainers 9 and 9' are made of a titanium clad steel, whose insides are made of a titanium material and their outsides are made of a steel. The retainer 9 is inserted into a steel pipe pile 8, and fillet welding is performed to the steel material part of the retainer 9 and the steel pipe pile 8. They can be easily welded because of Fe to Fe welding. A titanium sheath tube 5 with almost the same inside diameter as the outside diameter of the steel pipe pile 8, is inserted into the steel pipe pile 8. The sheath tube 5 and the titanium material part of the retainer 9 are welded. They can be easily welded because of titanium to titanium welding. The retainer 9' is inserted into the steel pipe pile 8, and the sheath tube 5 and the steel pipe pile 8 are welded in the same way. The titanium sheath tube 5 formed into a spiral shape is preferable.
