To prepare a cosmetic that has a suitable level of moistness and smoothness and has excellent long-term persistence.
This cosmetic contains jojoba fatty acid salt and jojoba alcohol. As one embodiment, the cosmetic contains 0.1-30 wt.% of a potassium salt of jojoba fatty acid and 0.1-30 wt.% of jojoba alcohol. As another embodiment, the cosmetic contains 0-30 wt.% of a jojoba ester.
