Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a cosmetic which contains a nonionic surfactant having an amide group of a specific molecular structure and is lower in skin irritation, excellent in storage stability and sensory characteristics.
CONSTITUTION: This cosmetic contains 0.01-10wt.% of a nonionic surfactant bearing an amide group of the formula (RCO is of 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, or 8 carbon atoms; (m) is 1, 2; (n) is 2-100) and having 2 hydrophobic groups and 2 hydrophilic groups. Further, other surfactants, an emulsion aid, perfumes, colorants, preservatives, pigments are properly formulated to preare skin milk, skin cream, foundation cream, massage cream, face-cleansing cream, lotion, scalp treatment, hair cream, hair shampoo, hair rinse and the like.
