Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a cosmetic in which the coloring caused by a pearl pigment is clear, gives a user a comfortable feeling when it is applied to the skin and keeps this effect for a long time.
SOLUTION: This cosmetic contains the following components (A), (B) and (C): (A) a pearly-luster pigment of 5 to 80 wt.%, (B) an organic plate-like powder of 5 to 40 wt.%, wherein the ratio of its long diameter to its short diameter is 1:1 to 1:100 and its thickness is half the long diameter or smaller, and (C) a film-forming resin of 0.01 to 30 wt.%.
