PURPOSE: To provide a count type flip-flop capable of independently performing the count of multiple stages more than before.
CONSTITUTION: This flip-flop is provided with a master side flip-flop 30 provided with a first quantization circuit 10 and a first gate circuit 20, a slave side flip- flop 40 provided with a second quantization circuit 10' and a second gate circuit 20' for receiving the output of the master side flip-flop 30 and an increment circuit 50 and a decrement circuit 60 for receiving the output of the slave side flip-flop 40, respectively increasing and decreasing it and outputting it. The first gate circuit 20 selects input to the first quantization circuit 10 among the feedback of the first quantization circuit 10, the output of the increment circuit 50 and the output of the decrement circuit 60. The second gate circuit 20' is controlled by clocks and switches the input to the second quantization circuit 10' between the output of the master side flip-flop and the feedback.
