A counter element 100 comprising a voltage generating means 1 comprising an elastic and overhung substrate 21 and a thin film-like piezoelectric element 20 that is provided on this substrate 21 and generates voltage by distortion due to impact, a detecting means 2 for detecting the voltage generated by this distortion of the piezoelectric element 20, and a conversion means 3 for converting the detected voltage into a pulse signal is connected to various commercial counters. Thus, the small, accurate, and inexpensive count display device can be achieved.
