Abstract:
To simplify the piping of a sprayed water system and the piping of a circulated-cooling water system, and to make maintenance easy by mounting a pack plate and a closed heat exchanger separately from each other at different places in a compact cooling tower.
The pack plate 13 is packed between a water spray device 11 and a circumferential outside air intake port 12 to provide an opened heat exchanger, and a sprayed water piping system A is mounted to drop water sprayed to the pack plate 13 and return the water to the water spray device 11 from a water tank 14. The plate-type closed heat exchanger 15 for cooling the circulated cooling water is mounted outside a machine frame of the compact cooling tower 10 as a block body B as a whole.
