PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to rotate and open an engine cover, even when a step is placed at the highest position, in an operation section provided with an engine cover capable of being rotated and opened in the outside direction and with a step capable of being vertically moved.
SOLUTION: In this cover-opening or closing device of the agricultural work vehicle, a step 3 is vertically movably disposed at a front part under an operation seat 2 in an operation section 1, and an engine cover 5 comprising outside plates 5a, a front plate 5b and an upper plate 5c and forming an engine room R therein having an engine 4 disposed below the operation seat 2 is disposed in a state capable of being outwardly rotated and opened on a vertical support shaft 6 disposed at the rear end of the outside plate. Therein, the lower end edge (a) of the front plate 5b of the engine cover 5 is placed above the highest position of the upper surface of the step 3.
