Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a large movable amount and to make the structure sufficiently applicable to a base-isolated building.
SOLUTION: A pair of hinges 41, 42 are oppositely provided at backing materials 72, 83 provided at the end parts of adjacent buildings 70, 80, and one end of first arm members 11, 12 is pivotally connected to movable pieces 41c, 42c of the hinges 41, 42 to be rotatable around a longitudinal axis. Both ends of a second arm member 21 are pivotally connected to the other end of the first members 11, 12 to be rotatable around the longitudinal axis. At the central part of the second arm member 21, the central part of a third arm member 31 is pivoted rotatingly around the longitudinal axis and both ends are fitted to be axially slidable on the first arm members 11, 12. A spring 51 is provided to energize the upper end side portion of a third arm member 31 toward the hinge 42 side rotating shaft of the first arm member 12. A cover plate is supported by two upper and lower cover plate support members 1.
