Abstract:

To provide a covered yarn having excellent strength retention at the wet time, and capable of providing comfort same as 100% paper yarn.

This covered yarn is obtained by helically winding a paper-made tape subjected to a waterproof treatment on the periphery of a core yarn preferably having ≥1.96 N strength at 5% elongation.
