Abstract:

To prevent ink from adhering to an impression cylinder or a conveying cylinder of a printing machine.

A covering body (jacket) mounted on the surface of the impression cylinder or the conveying cylinder of the printing machine is formed by spraying an ultra hardness particle 2 such as a ceramic particle on the surface of a sheet-like substrate 1; and plating a nickel-phosphorus plating layer 4, in which fine particles of PTFE to be a low surface energy resin are uniformly dispersed and precipitated, on the surface of the substrate 1 such that an unevenness formed by the ultra hardness particle 2 remains. The ultra hardness particle 2 is formed into a round or a spherical shape.
