Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce number of components and to make stable the oscillating frequency, by constituting a current limit resistor with polysilicon, in a circuit consisting of CMOS inverters.
CONSTITUTION: To suppress the voltage fluctuation at a node 9 connected with a resistor 5 and a capacitor 4 within a rated value, a current limit resistor 12 having a resistance value ≥2 times the resistor 5 is provided between the node 9 and an inverter 1 for the protection of inverters. The resistor 12 is provided on a semiconductor substrate with polysilicon to avoid the voltage fluctuation. Specified resistors can be manufactured because the resistance value of polysilicon can be controlled with doping amount of impurity.
