Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crank press in which the capacity of a brake and an electric motor is reduced.
SOLUTION: A crank press is constituted such that the power of an electric motor 9 is transmitted to a crank shaft 1 through a clutch 7 to lower the slide, while reducing the speed in the elevation of the slide by a brake 6 connected to the crank shaft 1, and stopping the slide at the upper dead point for each cycle; the crank press is constituted of a hydraulic pump motor 10 connected to the crank shaft 1 through a gear, an accumulator 13 connected to the hydraulic pump motor 10 with hydraulic circuits a, b, c, and first and second switching valves SV3, SV4 for switching an energy absorbing state in which hydraulic oil is sent to the accumulator 13 through the hydraulic pump motor 10, with an energy releasing state in which the hydraulic oil is sent from the accumulator 13 to the hydraulic pump motor 10.
