Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve rigidity between engaging protrusions and prevent the upward curved bending of a crawler belt by forming first and second lugs integrally at the outer peripheral surface of the body part of the crawler belt, and providing these lugs in such a way as to connect the lateral engaging protrusions of the body part.
CONSTITUTION: The outer peripheral surface of the body part 2A of a crawler belt formed into endless belt shape is provided with first and second lugs 6A, 6B alternately at spaces apart in the circumferential direction. The adjacent first and second lugs 6A, 6B are disposed longitudinally in the circulating direction of the crawler in relation to the centerline B of a cross direction pair of engaging protrusions 7, and two rows of the first and second lugs 6A, 6B connect the lateral engaging protrusions 7 from the thickness direction view of the body part 2A. The influence of lugs between the engaging protrusions 7 is therefore little, and conformity to a driving wheel and a driven wheel is desirable so as to obtain uniform driving force over the width direction.
