Abstract:
To solve the problem that in production of functional composite fine particles such as an acrylate polymer by in-liquid drying, various factors are mutually affected and an extremely complicated system is formed; in a control method of the same, it is an important problem to hinder coalescence of droplets, and some steric hindrance is essential so as to hinder coalescence of droplets by kinetic energy; but in a conventional control method by operation of steering speed, an addition procedure and an addition amount of a surface active agent, and addition of inorganic powder, coalescence of fine particles frequently occurs, and industrial production stability is insufficient; and coalescence control by addition of the inorganic powder is certainly effective, but post processing after synthesis has a large problem.SOLUTION: In-liquid drying is performed by using a polymer surface active agent which is synthesized by AGET-ATRP precision synthesis using atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) and an activator (AGET) produced by electron transfer, and functional composite fine particles having desired particle diameters can be easily obtained without causing coalescence.SELECTED DRAWING: None
