To provide a crossing-bar operation control system that prevents temporary lowering of a crossing bar at the starting time of raising the crossing bar of a crossing gate and occurrence of a load on a mechanical brake.
The crossing-bar operation control system controls operation of the crossing bar when raising the crossing bar of the crossing gate from a horizontal position. The system is provided with a motor for raising the crossing bar, the mechanical brake for holding the horizontal position of the crossing bar, and a dynamic brake function that separately functions as a brake for holding the horizontal position of the crossing bar. It is controlled so that the start of motor rotation is executed after releasing the mechanical brake and the operation of the dynamic brake function is executed before releasing the mechanical brake.
