PURPOSE: To obtain bread or cake having effects such as beautifying effect, health, nutrition, robustness, healthy stomach, controlled bowel, prevention of arteriosclerosis, removal of cholesterol, sedative action or loosen phlegm by blending a raw material with a crude drug.

CONSTITUTION: A raw material such as hard-wheat is blended with a crude drug (e.g. Coicis semen, dried leaf of Lycium chinense Mill, root sheath of Acanthopanax spinosus Miq., foliage of Epimedium grandiflorum Morr. var., dried leaf of Glechoma hederacea L., etc.) and as necessary seasoning, flavor, coloring agent is added to the blend to provide the aimed bread or cake.
