Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycrystal silicon crusher capable of reducing polycrystal silicon to pass without being crushed, thereby to improve a crushing efficiency.SOLUTION: A polycrystal silicon crusher 100 for clamping and crushing massive polycrystal silicon between a pair of crushing rolls 2 and 2 is constituted to have a plurality of crushing teeth 10 protruding radially outward on the outer circumference of the crushing rolls 2, and to be different in the rotation number in each of the crushing rolls 2. In the crusher 100 of the polycrystal silicon, the rotation directions of the paired crushing rolls 2 and 2 can be made identical.
