To provide a crusher suppressing damage of bits when biting foreign matter.
The crusher is provided with: crushing apparatus frames 20; a crushing rotor 15 having the bits 36 on an outer periphery of a plate integrated body 101 rotatably provided in relation to the crushing apparatus frames 20; a crushing chamber 27 housing the crushing rotor 15; an anvil 34 set in the crushing chamber 27 so as to face an outermost diameter part of a rotary trajectory of the crushing rotor 15 via a space; anvil frames 40 supporting the anvil 34 and supported turnably in relation to the crushing apparatus frames 20; and a shear pin 43 allowing the turning of the anvil frames 40 when an impact force exceeding a set value is applied to the anvil 34 and separating the anvil 34 from the crushing chamber 27 to open the crushing chamber 27. The bits 36 are turnably mounted in the direction along a face orthogonal to a rotary shaft 100 of the crushing rotor 15.
