Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attain efficient crushing by providing a novel roll crushing method for acting pressure and shearing force in combination, and to provide an apparatus therefor.
CONSTITUTION: The method for crushing ore material by using a roll crushing machine and the apparatus therefor include at least two rolls 1 and 2 to which the stream of the ore material grains is supplied. Such a supply flow rate at which the height of the bed of the particles above the rolls attains 30 to 80°, more preferably 40 to 65° in average load angle is set. The apparatus is provided with flaps 4 and 5 to enable the adjustment of the angle (a) and the apparatus is particularly suitable for crushing of cement clinker.
