A crushing apparatus for crushing an object to be crushed includes a case 1 in which an object to be crushed F is fed and a hammer 2 which is rotatably and drivably installed in the case 1 and crushes the object to be crushed F by giving impact to the object to be crushed F fed in the case 1 by the rotating and driving hammer 2. A chemical supply part 13 for holding fire extinguishing chemicals 15 is arranged in the case 1 and is formed sensitively to detect the pressure to the chemical supply part 13, applied by foreign objects mixed in the case 1. The chemical supply part 13 is formed such that the fire extinguishing chemicals 15 are freely supplied into the case 1, by detecting the pressure.
