To control irregularities in the grain size of crushed cereals by supplying creals in the thickness of a monolayer to a gap between rolls, in a device for supplying the cereals to the gap between a pair of rolls which rotate in their mutually opposite directions and at their mutually different speeds and crushing the cereals.
A pair of crushing rolls 2, 3 rotate in their mutually opposite directions and with a difference in peripheral speed between the rolls through turning ON a power supply and driving a motor 17. Further, by driving a vibration device 14, a vibratory conveying frame 12 starts vibrating. Cereals to be supplied from a supply tank 10 pass through the vibratory conveying frame 12 in a monolayer zonal form without stacking over each other and then drop into a guide chute 6 from the tip of the vibratory conveying frame 12. The cereals now on the guide chute 6 slide down the guide chute 6 to be supplied to the gap between the crushing rolls 2, 3, spread in the zonal form and almost the same width as the rolls 2, 3 without stacking over each other. Further, when passing through the gap between the crushing rolls 2, 3, the cereals are crushed equally and efficiently by the pressure and rotation of the crushing rolls 2, 3.
