To provide a cryogenic cooling system in which duplication of facility is eliminated and handling and maintenance are facilitated.
In order to provide such a cryogenic cooling system, a refrigerating machine 1 is fixed to a first container 2 and a superconducting magnet 7 is contained in a second container 5. Two container are spaced apart by a specified distance and coupled through liquid injection piping 4a and gas return piping 4b. The liquid injection piping 4a is arranged such that liquid helium 3 can flow between the first and second containers 2, 5 and the gas return piping 4b is arranged such that helium gas can flow between the first and second containers 2, 5. Consequently, the refrigerating machine 1 can cool the superconducting magnet 7 located remotely through liquid helium 3 and a cryogenic cooling system having simple structure can be realized.
