Abstract:
PURPOSE: To find abnormality in early period and cope with it quickly by detecting the temperature rise of cooling object under rated operation condition from the pressure of cooling medium.
CONSTITUTION: A cryogenic refrigerating machine, having a circulating cycle sending cooling medium compressed by a compressor into the compressor after expanding it by a low temperature generating unit and generating a low temperature under the expanding process of the cooling medium by a low temperature generating unit, is provided with an emergency stopping means 11, provided so as to be interposed between the compressor 4 and the low temperature generating unit 1 to detect the pressure of the cooling medium and stopping at least one of the low temperature generating unit and the compressor when the pressure of the cooling medium has exceeded a predetermined boundary value, and a changeover switch 12, precluding the stopping effected by the emergency stopping means when the invalidity of emergency stopping means is preset.
