Abstract:

To produce a crystalline titanosilicate catalyst usable as a catalyst for the oxidation reaction of a compound having a carbon-carbon double bond and one or more other functional groups, to provide a method for producing the catalyst and a method for producing an oxidized compound by the oxidation reaction using the catalyst.

The crystalline titanosilicate having the structure code MWW acts effectively as a catalyst for the oxidation reaction of the carbon-carbon double bond of a compound having one or more functional groups besides the double bond using a peroxide as an oxidizing agent and gives the objective oxidized compound with high selectivity.
