Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a crystalline propylene polymer compsn. which gives a molding improved in elongation and elongation at weld by compounding a specific crystalline propylene homopolymer with two specific cyclic phosphorus compds. and a specific Mg compd.
CONSTITUTION: This compsn. comprises 100 pts.wt. crystalline propylene hompolymer having an isotactic pentad fraction (P) and a melt flow rate (MFR: g/10 min at 230V under 2.16kg-load) satisfying the relation: 1.00≥P≥ 0.015log MFR + 0.955, 0.01-1 pt.wt. cyclic phosphorus compd. of formula I (wherein Ar1 and Ar2 are each arylene, alkylarylene, cycloalkylarylene, etc.), 0.01-1 pt.wt. Mg compd. selected from among magnesium salts of fatty acids and aliph. magnesium phosphates, and 0.01-1 pt.wt. cyclic phosphorus compd. of formula II (wherein Ar3 and Ar4 are each the same as Ar1 or Ar2) and gives a molding very excellent in elongation and 4 elongation at welds.
