To provide a cultivation device for extremely reducing diseases of plants caused by stagnation of nutritious liquid, and remarkably decreasing equipment cost.
This cultivation device for hydroponics has a plurality of medium holding trays 6 arranged on a horizontal cultivation stand 7, a water nonpermeable sheet 2 stretched tightly on the medium holding trays 6, a medium plate 1 laminated on the water nonpermeable sheet 2, a root cutting sheet 3 laminated on the medium plate 1, and a medium 4 laminated to a prescribed thickness on the root cutting sheet 3. The medium holding tray 6 has on the top a longitudinal ditch 9 extending to both the ends, and is formed in a ditch shape made by setting a partition 8 along both the sides. The medium plate 1 has many projecting parts 11 projecting to the top, and each of the recessed parts 11 is horizontally arranged with the root cutting sheet 3 on the upper end as the same surface. The medium plate 1 forms a drain ditch 10 between the projecting parts 11, and pours wastewater permeating the medium 4 and the root cutting sheet 3 toward the periphery to drain from the medium plate 1 to the longitudinal ditch 9 of the medium holding tray 6.
