PURPOSE: To provide both a culture bag capable of relatively simply measuring the contamination with bacteria in a food for a short time without requiring large-scale equipment such as a clean bench and relying on a skilled operator and a bacterial inspection system capable of simply measuring the viable cell number thereof.

CONSTITUTION: This culture bag is an aseptically treated film bag 1 housing a culture medium (bouillon) 2 and obtained by fixing a rubber-like substance, having heat resistance or γ-ray irradiation resistance characteristics and capable of manifesting the elasticity and viscoelasticity in any suitable place except sealing parts on the inner and outer surfaces of the film bag 1 and forming a part 3 for taking in and out a specimen therein. This bacterial inspection system for a food uses the culture bag.
