To provide an aqueous curable emulsion which makes it possible to coat a base material in one step with a layer for preventing absorption of penetrating water and a coating film layer to make up for the weatherability of the layer for preventing water absorption, which gives a coating film excellent in resistance to formation of stained streaks due to rain, anti-staining properties, water resistance and whitening resistance, and which is excellent in shelf stability and safety.
This curable aqueous stainproof coating composition contains: (A) a curable aqueous dispersion which is excellent in anti-staining properties and is obtained by dispersing, in an aqueous medium, (a) a (meth)acrylate copolymer having an alkoxysilyl group, (b) a hydrolyzable silane compound, and (c) a block polymer obtained by subjecting a monomer comprising mainly a (meth)acrylic ester having a polyoxyalkylene group to radical polymerization in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator having polydimethylsiloxane units and two or more azo groups in the main chain; and (C) a sulfosuccinic acid-based surfactant.
