To provide a transparent thermoplastic resin composition which is based on a rubber-reinforced styrenic resin and has excellent transparency, impact strength and thermal stability.
This transparent thermoplastic resin composition is characterized by containing silicon element (B) in an amount of 1 to 100 ppm in 100 pts.wt. of a rubber-reinforced styrenic resin (A) which comprises a graft polymer (a-1) prepared by polymerizing monomers comprising 1 to 90 wt.% of an aromatic vinyl, 1 to 40 wt.% of vinyl cyanide and 10 to 98 wt.% of a (meth)acrylate in the presence of a rubbery polymer having a weight-average particle diameter of 0.05 to 2.0 μm, or the graft polymer (a-1) and a copolymer (a-2) prepared by polymerizing 1 to 90 wt.% of an aromatic vinyl, 1 to 40 wt.% of vinyl cyanide and 10 to 98 wt.% of a (meth)acrylate.
