Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the compositions having a long pot life and which are cured rapidly at a high curing temp., and coated abrasive products obtained by using the same, having a high shear adhesive tear strength i.e., a high abrasion property.
CONSTITUTION: The curable composition contains a curable epoxy resin and a residual curing agent derived from an aromatic amine selected from a group consisting of a substituted pentafluoroantimonic acid, aniline and a hindered amine. The abrasive products contain abrasive particles bound to and supported on at least one main surface of substrate sheet being adhered thereto by a make coating layer of a first resinous binding material and a size coating layer of a second resinous material.
