Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a molding material providing a molded item with excellent mechanical strengths, chemical resistance, surface appearance, surface hardness and dimension accuracy by compounding a curable phosphazene compd. and a fibrous substance. CONSTITUTION:A molding material contg. a curable phosphazene compd. and a fibrous material. As said curable phosphazene compd., a compd. having repeating units of the formula (wherein X and Y are each a curable group or a noncurable group; n>=3; a>0; b>=0; a+b=2, provided that X is a curable group when b is 0) can be cited as a pref. example. Said molding material can be handled in the same way as such thermosetting resins as epoxy resins and unsatd. polyester resins and a curing method applicable to the unsated. polyester resins be used as it is. In addition, it can be also cured with an active radiation such as UV ray by selecting an electron beam and a curing accelerator.
