Abstract:
Provided are a curable resin composition that maintains a high fluidity even at room temperature and can provide a cured article having a high toughness, and a block copolymer. Also provided is a method for producing the block copolymer at a very high production efficiency. The curable resin composition comprises a block copolymer that has a structural unit consisting of polymer block (A)/polymer block (B)/polymer block (A), wherein: the polymer block (A) is a polymer comprising a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester compound as a main constituting monomer, having a glass transition temperature of 10oC or lower and containing a crosslinkable functional group at a ratio of at least 0.7 group per block on average; the polymer block (B) is a polymer comprising a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester compound as a main constituting monomer and having a glass transition temperature of 0oC or lower [provided that the polymer block (B) is different from the polymer block (A)]; and the content of the polymer block (A) is 33 parts by mass or less per 100 parts by mass of the sum of the contents of the polymer blocks (A) and (B). The production method comprises a step for producing the block copolymer by living radical polymerization.
