Abstract:
To provide a novel oral composition that solves the problems of the conventional art: in which curcumin is very poor in water solubility and light stability and has also high coloring property, therefore, blending curcumin in oral hygiene agents could not ensure sufficient effect and quality.SOLUTION: The inventors have performed a study to obtain an oral hygiene composition that is excellent in the solubility of curcumin and separation stability and light stability of the composition and less tends to color an object, resulting in a novel oral hygiene composition that contains curcumin, and an emulsifier with an HLB of 14 or more and divalent alcohols, with an average particle size of 100 nm or less, and the ratio of water/divalent alcohols of 2 or more and 100 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
