Abstract:
To prevent an operator from forgetting to input abnormal currency to a storge unit.SOLUTION: A currency handling device includes: a currency input unit into which an operator inputs currency; a currency discharge unit that discharges the currency; a discrimination unit that discriminates the currency input to the currency input unit; a display unit; a control unit that controls the currency discharge unit to discharge the currency determined as abnormal currency by the discrimination unit in deposit transaction, and controls the display unit to display a screen; and a storage unit that includes an input port to which the abnormal currency discharged from the currency discharge unit is input, and a storage space that stores the abnormal currency input from the input port. The storage unit includes an input detection sensor for detecting input of the abnormal currency from the input port, and the control unit allows the display unit to display an input guidance screen for promoting input of the abnormal currency to the storage unit until the input detection sensor detects input of the abnormal currency to the storage unit, and stands by progress of the deposit transaction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
