Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the cooling efficiency of a current limit element and to enable short time duty and high speed reclose by passing superconducting wires through holes made through a board with interval then securing the superconducting wires.
CONSTITUTION: Superconducting wires 1 constituting current limit elements are passed through a board 2 and fixed. Holes are made through the board 2 with interval in order to provide a space, between the superconducting wires 1, for passing refrigerant necessary for high speed reclose. By such arrangement, cooling speed is improved remarkably during current limit operation and the temperature rise of the current limit element is prevented, resulting in a short time duty end high speed reclose.
