Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject preparation not getting colored or changed in a long period of storage and rapidly becoming transparent on redissolution of the preparation by mixing mannitol and/or cysteine with a crystalline salt of a medicinally useful optically active aminocumarane derivative.
SOLUTION: This powder preparation for injection is obtained by mixing mannitol and/or cysteine with (S)-(+)-2,3-dihydro-2,3,6,7-tetramethyl-2-[(4-phenyl-1- piperidinyl)methyl]-5-benzofuranamine dihydrochloride. It is possible to make a high concentration prepared solution for the lyophilization so as to reduce the lyophilization time. By coating glass vials with a silicone, the sticking of bubbles generated on the redissolution of this preparation to the inside surface of the vials can be prevented.
