Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cut device which can be driven by the possible lowest power.SOLUTION: A cut device has a fixed blade, a moving blade, and a drive motor for driving the moving blade, and moves the moving blade close to the fixed blade by the driving of the drive motor, thereby cutting a medium. In the cut device, the drive motor is driven so as to make the output torque of the drive motor in steps except for a cutting step lower than that in the cutting step cutting the medium.
