Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the thermal efficiency of producted fins by providing a projection on the tooth top of a cutter and by setting the distances between the top end of projection and the terminal and top ends of the front and rear cutting parts for forming a looper to satisfy a specified equation. CONSTITUTION:The projection 17 is provided at the front part of rotating direction A from the center of the cutter tooth top 18 of one side, and the position and shape of the projection 17 is set to make the distances Y, X between the topping end 21 of the projection and end parts 22, 20 of the front and rear looper forming cutter 8 to satisfy the equation. By this method, the height dispersion h of the corrugated fin as the product is controlled within + or -0.05mm. Therefore, the shape of R part of the corrugated fin is uniformized in the width direction, the thermal efficiency of the corrugated fin is improved.
